Inquiry about support for Linux of Exquis app

Support for Linux was my main reason to buy the Exquis. A lot of activity is going on on the other platforms. Thanks for that. Will there be a Linux version of the app somewhere down the line?

I’m sure it’ll come eventually, I don’t mind to wait ! And I am already really grateful for the team to be so open-minded.

But, in the meantime, did any of you manage to get it to run with WINE ? Installed, but nothing happens. (I use WINE successfully with quite a lot of stuff like gaming, Arturia instruments)

I tried with PlayOnLinux since it eases the creation of a 64 bit wineprefix. The installation program seems to run quasi smoothly (except a few data filenames refused) but when launching the installed executable Exquis.exe, nothing happens. The task manager indicates shows a running Exquis process, but no window shows up. I did not take the time to dump the logs that appeared in the console, however.

Same as here. As Wine 11.0 was released recently, it will be worth giving it another try soon.

At least, it does install the presets for various synths :slight_smile:
