Using this layout as a guide:
[Wicki–Hayden note layout - Wikipedia](https://Wikipedia Image of Wicki-Hayden Layout)
Here’s a picture of what it looks like (please note this isn’t the only way to get Wicki-Hayden working on Exquis):
Because of the layout and shape of the Hexagons on the Exquis I opted to rotate the « notes layout » by about 45 degrees.
As you can see it’s a bit confusing, but to understand where the intrigue is try and picture yourself playing a G Major then a C Major or any chords using my setup. Take a look at how easy it becomes to play and remember how to play any subsequent chords.
Unfortunately, the Exquis doesn’t seem to have been made with Wicki-Hayden in mind. The Exquis has a button sequence of 6,5,6,5,6,5 per row. Had it had a 6,6,6,6 sequence it would be trivial to setup Wicki-Hayden on it (because an Octave has 12 notes). As it stands currently when I set it up to use vertically (the standard way Exquis is played) a note is missing from each octave.
If anyone can think of a workaround let me know.
Cheers.
